Children & Young People's Service

The children and young people’s outreach service is a tailor made service for children and young people aged 5-16, who have or are experiencing domestic abuse. The service aims to provide individual support, advice, education and assistance.

Staff work with children and young people in schools, children’s centres and local community settings, as well as in their own homes. The work builds the child/young person’s self-confidence by creating individual safety plans, self-esteem boosting activities and promoting positive ways to acknowledge and manage their emotions.
